Waste tyre is almost free in Nigeria, and, after pyrolysis, you can get about 45% pyrolysis fuel oil, 35% carbon black, 12% steel wire and 8% syn-gas among which syn-gas is for machine self-use and the other three are sold as commercial products. As we know, Nigeria has shortage of coal, the tyre pyrolysis oil with heating value more than 10000kcal/kg can well replace coal or other kinds of heating energy such as diesel, LPG and CNG,etc used for industrial heating.

Tyre pyrolysis oil can be sold about usd450/ton.Tyre carbon black can be further refined and used as coloring agent for rubber factory, painting factory and water pipe factory, etc. Besides, since after pyrolysis tyre carbon black still has high heating value, so it can be also processed into briquettes for heating purpose. The crude carbon black can be sold usd120/ton, and more than usd200 after further processing. Steel wire is sold as scrap steel to steel factory for recycling or used to make reinforcing rods for building. Its price is about usd120/ton.
