What is the process followed in the conversion of plastic to fuel?

With the widespread use of various plastic products, countless plastic wastes are generated every year. But we can use waste plastic pyrolysis plant to convert plastic into fuel, carbon black, combustible gas products, and make considerable profits. The detailed process followed in the conversion of plastic to fuel consists of five steps: feeding, high temperature pyrolysis, cooling, discharging and gas purification.

The process of waste plastic pyrolysis plant

①Feeding: feed the waste plastic into the reactor and then seal the feeding inlet door tightly to ensure no gas leakage.

②High temperature pyrolysis: heat the reactor to pyrolyze the waste plastics and when the temperature reaches about 250 degrees, oil and gas are formed.

③Cooling: the oil gas coming out from the reactor then goes to condensing system and become liquid oil, and the condensed liquid oil enters the oil tank.

④Discharging: adopt carbon black wind transfer system to collect the carbon black produced in waste plastic pyrolysis process.

⑤Gas purification: the combustible gas which can’t be liquefied under normal pressure can be recycled as fuel to heat the reactor after being purified. And the waste gas will be purified by desulfurization tower and then be discharged.

Different plastic types with different oil yield

According to different plastic types, the final product can be 30-80% fuel oil, carbon black, and 10% combustible gas. Not every plastic has a large oil content, but DOING's waste plastic pyrolysis plant can completely and effectively pyrolyze the fuel in the waste plastic at a high guaranteed conversion rate.
