There are three main methods to dispose of end of life tyres(ELTs):
1. Tire retreading:
It's a simple and fast ELTs recycling way, but it's not advisable. Because the wear resistance of the retreaded tyres is extremely poor, and it is easy to cause a tyre blowout accident. Therefore, this tyre recycling method is not advisable.

2. Convert ELTs into rubber powder:
It has a short production cycle. After the waste tires are processed into rubber powder, they can be used as modified asphalt paving, reclaimed rubber, waterproof membrane, etc. The detailed ELTs to rubber powder recycling processes are as follows.
First, the steel wire is pulled out from ELTs by steel wire drawing machine, and then passed through a tire crusher/tire shredder to be pulverized into particles of about 10-15 mm, which are sent to a rubber powder milling machine by a conveyor. The powder falls into the vibrating screen, and after screening, some semi-finished products continue to be recycled with a multi-functional rubber mill, and finally the finished rubber powder is obtained.

3. Pyrolysis ELTs into Fuel Oil
It can decompose ELTs into products fuel oil, carbon black, steel wire and combustible gas, which has huge economic value and does not pollute the environment, which is in line with the sustainable development concept advocated by the state. Fuel oil can be used for cement plants, glass plants, steel plants or boiler heating, etc. Carbon black can be sold directly or further processed into carbon black balls or ground into carbon black powder for higher prices, and steel wire can also be sold directly.
