How much oil can be extracted from groundnuts is depend on what method you use to extract groundnut oil. If you want to extract groundnut oil from 1kg groundnuts, because of less raw material, you must use pressing method. The oil content of groundnuts is about 50%, and the residual oil rate of pressing method is about 6%, so you can get 1kg*(50-6)%=0.44kg groundnut oil.
The oil you can get from 1kg groundnut
Next, Henan Glory Company will take 100 tons groundnut as an example, to explain how much oil can be extracted from groundnuts using different methods.
If the groundnuts is 100 tons, the shell content can't be neglected, about 30%. So the groundnut kernels is about 70 tons. The oil content of groundnuts is about 50%.
Using pressing method, you can get 70t*(50-6)%=30.8t groundnut oil, and the residual oil is about 4.2t groundnut oil.
The groundnut oil you can get using different method
Using pre-pressing & solvent extraction method, in pre-pressing plant, you can get 70t*(50-15)%=24.5t groundnut oil, and in solvent extraction plant, you can get 70t*14%=9.8t groundnut oil. So you can totally get 24.5+9.8=34.3t groundnut oil, and the residual oil is only 0.7t groundnut oil.
After comparison, you can see clearly which method is better when the processing capacity is big. Therefore, the engineers of our Henan Glory Company recommend that when the daily processing capacity is more than 30 ton per day, choosing pre-pressing & solvent extraction method is more cost-efficient. If the daily processing capacity is less than 30 ton per day, you can use pressing method to extract groundnut oil.
